Wild Run was commissioned by the Great Lakes Chamber Festival in Detroit and premiered there in the summer of 2018. It is dedicated to the former and present founders of the festival: cellist Paul Watkins and pianist James Tocco who premiered the work. The short one movement work is a fast and "wild run" for cello and piano and intended as a piece to be paired with Trés Lent.
