Programme Note
Venice, Venice! This amazing place which seems so close to almost every human dreams. The most beautiful town in the world where you can hear your own steps. I always wanted to compose a "Serenissima-piece” - a serene "Venice-piece”for only one person, one violin and now it is done. The piece is full of whispering steps, traces of dances and barcarole songs. The piece is written for John Storgårds.
