Motet composed for the 75th birthday of the Danish poet Jørgen Gustava Brandt in 2004, based on Brandts and Nørgårds hymn for the new millennium, "Årtusinds håb", 1999.
The poem brings a hope for the new century, and the melody has a touch of both old Eastern and romantic European traditions - combined in Nørgårds personal way of the late 20th century.
