CONCERTINO FOR RECORDER (OR FLUTE), VIOLIN, CELLO & HARPSICHORD (OR PIANO) Op.49
This work, written some 20 years ago, sets out to give each of the four instruments concerned a concertante part. It is in four movements, the first being in classical form. After this come two short slow movements, the first is for recorder and cello alone and is based on a
12 note row, the second purely melodic for the other two instruments -violin and harpsichord. The fourth movement is a rondo.
