The current opera season has been a busy one for G. Schirmer/AMP and Music Sales Classical. In 2016 and 2017 alone we are witness to the international world premieres of eight new operas from composers published by our companies.

Significant new productions are also hitting the boards this season including a new production with the Mexican premiere of Daniel Catán's Salsipuedes; a return of Keith Warner's interpretation of John Harbison's The Great Gatsby at Semper Opera Dresden; and the US premiere production of Philip Glass's The Perfect American at Long Beach Opera and Chicago Opera Theater.
